Support of Informal Carers for Patients Suffering from Long-term Illnesses in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na podporu neformálních pečovatelů o dlouhodobě nemocné na území Moravskoslezského kraje. Cílem diplomové práce bude analyzovat dostupné formy podpory neformálních pečovatelů o dlouhodobě nemocné. Cílem teoretické části bude z aktuálních českých a zahraničních zdrojů získat a analyzovat základní pojmy, koncept dlouhodobé péče a v teoretickém rámci zjistit aktuální stav neformální péče o dlouhodobě nemocné v odborné literatuře. Výzkumná část navazuje na teoretické poznatky. Metodou kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit odpověď na otázku: "Jakou formu podpory neformální pečovatelé využívají a zda mají dostatek informací o možnostech formální podpory dlouhodobé péče." Cílem je zkoumat možnosti podpory neformálních pečujících o dlouhodobě nemocné, identifikovat případná krizová místa.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the support of informal carers of long-term ill in the Moravian-Silesian region. The aim of the thesis will be to analyse the available forms of the support provided to the informal carers for the long-term ill. The aim of the theoretical part will be to consult current Czech as well as foreign sources to acquire and to analyse the basic concepts and the concept of long-term care, and to find out the current state of informal care for the long-term ill in the scientific literature. The research section follows the theoretical findings. The qualitative research method is used to answer the question: "What form of support are informal carers using and do they have enough information about the possibilities of formal support for long-term care?" The aim of this section is to find out the possibilities of the support provided to the informal carers for the long-term ill, as well as to identify potential critical points.
