Abstract:

Živnostnictví v rozvojových zemích je považováno za jeden z klíčových prvků zdravé ekonomiky. Přesto výzkumy zaměřené na tuto oblast jsou velmi limitované. Cílem této práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit situaci IT živnostnictví v Alžírsku. Součástí práce je sběr dat z existujících subjektů v podobě IT startupů pomocí dotazníkového šetření a vytvoření návodu pro založení IT startupu v zemi, kde je trh s IT málo rozvinut a nabízí mnoho příležitostí. Vláda v Alžírsku se snaží podpořit vznik nových IT společností pomocí řady projektů, ale v současné době tato pomoc není vždy dostupná těm, kteří ji potřebují. Tato práce analyzuje problémy s čerpáním státní podpory a nabízí doporučení jak je řešit.

Abstract:

Entrepreneurship in developing countries is considered as one of the key elements for a healthy productive economy. However, researches in this area are still limited. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the IT Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Algeria. This work aims to collect data on the existing ecosystem, getting in touch with as much IT startups as possible through tailored questionnaires, with the final goal of providing a guideline for creating an IT startup in the country where the IT market is still in its early stages providing a variety of opportunities. Government tried to support this by putting in place a number of initiatives, however there is a gap between providing the support and making it accessible for interested individuals. A full analysis of these challenges was carried in this work with some recommendations proposed on how to address them.
