Abstract:

Sluch je jedním z nejdůležitějších smyslů. S přibývajícím věkem se jeho kvalita snižuje. Cílem této práce bylo zjistit a srovnat práh sluchu v jednotlivých věkových kategoriích od 18 let věku výše u mužů a žen na Karvinsku a dále porovnat subjektivní vnímání sluchové poruchy, zjištěné pomocí zkrácené verze dotazníku Hearing Handicap Inventory (HHI), s objektivně naměřeným prahem sluchu. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií a fyziologií sluchového aparátu, základy akustiky, poruchami sluchové funkce a hlavními příčinami zhoršení sluchu. Další kapitoly popisují vyšetřovací metody sluchu, léčbu a kompenzaci sluchových vad. Závěrečná kapitola se zabývá prevencí sluchových vad. V praktické části jsou zpracovány výsledky audiometrického vyšetření osob a screeningového dotazníku HHI. Zjištěné výsledky byly zpracovány v MS Excel a následně vyhodnoceny. V našem průzkumu bylo zjištěno, že s přibývajícím věkem se sluch zhoršuje a to výrazněji u mužů než žen a to převážně ve vyšších frekvencích. Dále bylo zjištěno, že se zhoršujícím se sluchem přibývá osob se sluchovým hendikepem. Sociální dopad sluchových poruch převažoval nad emočním a ženy byly k sociálnímu i emočnímu hendikepu citlivější než muži.

Abstract:

Hearing is one of the most important senses. With age, the quality decreases. The objectives of this thesis was to determine and compare the hearing threshold in each category from above 18 years of age for men and women in the Karviná and to compare the subjective perception of auditory disorders detected using a shortened version of the questionnaire Hearing Handicap Inventory (HHI), with objectively measured hearing threshold. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and physiology of the auditory system, acoustic , auditory function disorders and major causes of hearing loss. Other chapters describe methods of investigation hearing, treatment and compensation of hearing impairments. The final chapter deals with the prevention of hearing disorders. In the practical part presents the results of the audiometric examination of persons and screening questionnaire HHI . The results were processed in MS Excel and subsequently evaluated. In our survey, it was found that with age, hearing worsens and more for men than women, mostly in the higher frequencies. It was also found that increasing the deteriorating hearing people with hearing disabilities. The social impact of hearing loss outweighed the emotional and women were the social and emotional handicap sensitive than men.
