Textile sensors for protective clothing and technical textiles

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na realizaci teplotního vyšívaného senzoru pro e-textilie. Hlavním cílem práce je návrh, výroba a testování teplotního senzoru. V rešeršní části je uvedeno rozdělení e-textilií a materiálů substrátů a propojovacích cest. Dále jsou popsány způsoby a druhy propojovacích cest na textilu. Jsou zde uvedeny druhy konvenčních a textilních senzorů pro měření teploty. Praktická část je zaměřena na návrh, vyšití, kontaktování, testování a kalibraci realizovaných senzorů. V poslední části bakalářské práce je jsou diskutovány a kriticky zhodnoceny výsledky měření. Výsledné testy ukazují, že nejspolehlivější kontakty byly vytvořeny metodou odporového svařování. Senzory vykazují velmi dobré průběhy v závislosti na teplotě, které se přibližují komerčním senzorům. Vyšívané teplotní senzory by proto mohly být dalším krokem v rozvoji e-textilií.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the implementation of a temperature embroidered sensor for e-textiles. The main purpose of this work is the design, manufacture and testing of a temperature sensor. The research section shows the division of e-textiles and materials of substrates and connecting paths. Further, methods and types of connecting pathways for textiles are described. There are types of conventional and textile temperature sensors. The practical part is focused on the design, embroidery, contacting, testing and calibration of implemented sensors. In the last part of the bachelor thesis, the measurement results are discussed and critically evaluated. The results of tests show that the most reliable contacts were made by resistance welding. Embroidered sensors indicate very good temperature-dependent waveforms, which are close to commercial sensors. Embroidered temperature sensors could therefore be another step in the development of e-textiles.
