Suicidal Tendencies in Adolescents in the Zlín Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na suicidální jednání adolescentů ve Zlínském kraji a je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy z oblasti suicidia, dále je popsáno, jak se vyvíjel pohled na sebevraždu v dějinách lidstva. V další kapitole je charakterizováno období adolescence a její hlavní úskalí. Bakalářská práce je dále orientována na formy, druhy suicidia a v neposlední řadě na způsoby suicidálního jednání. Také jsou zde objasněny rizikové faktory adolescentů. Pozornost je věnována také prevenci a určitým druhům pomoci v oblasti krizové intervence. V bakalářské práci jsou zahrnuty i statistické údaje z oblasti sebevražd. Výzkumnou částí bakalářské práce je suicidální jednání adolescentů, jak napovídá již samotný název. Výzkum byl uskutečněn prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření na vybraných středních školách ve Zlínském kraji. Cílem dotazníkového šetření bylo zjistit a stanovit, jaký mají studenti přehled z oblasti suicidia, jaký mají názor na lidi, kteří spáchali sebevraždu, zda školy uskutečnily pro své studenty preventivní program proti sebevražednému jednání a jestli studenti vůbec mají zájem o získání více informací z dané problematiky.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on suicidal tendencies of adolescents in the Zlín Region and is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic suicidal terminology, describes development of views on suicide in the human history. Another chapter characterises the period of adolescence and its main problems. The thesis is focused on the forms, the kinds of suicide and the ways of suicidal behaviour. The risk factors in adolescents are also clarified there. Attention is also paid to prevention and to certain types of assistance in crisis intervention. The thesis also includes suicidal statistical data. The research of adolescents suicidal is a part of the thesis, as its title suggests. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey in selected secondary schools in the Zlín region. The aim of the survey is to ascertain and determine what is students knowledge of suicide, what is their opinion of the people who committed suicide, whether the school offers a prevention suicidal programme for their students and whether students are interested in obtaining more information about the issue.
