Forbiden Symbols: Use of the Symbols by the Extreme Nationalistic Movements

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je symbolika pravicově extrémistických hnutí. Jejím cílem je na metodologickém základě, článku od Sherry B. Ortner ?On key symbols?, analyzovat některé, ze symbolů, které tyto skupiny využívají. V první části se zabývám rozdělením extrémních skupin na českém území a právním podkladem, na jehož základě jsou tyto skupiny právně postihnutelné. V druhé části bylo nutné zmínit historický kontext, neboť v většina součastných pravicově-extrémistických skupin se na dědictví NSDAP odvolává. Třetí část je metodologická, vysvětluje a uchopuje teorii Sherry B. Ortner aby na jejím základě v následující kapitole bylo umožněno analyzovat některé se symbolů, které nejenom neonacistické skupiny využívají. Závěrem je nutné dodat, že tuto problematiku není možné pochopit výhradně na základě jediné, v případě této práce, antropologické optiky, neboť tento problém je komplexní a řešit jej lze pouze za pomoci několika různých náhledů.

Abstract:

The topic of my thesis is The Symbolism of Far-right Movements. Based on a methodological article by Sherry B. Ortner ''On key symbols'', the object of the work is to analyze some of the symbols used by groups of these movements. In the first part of my thesis, I undertake the division of far-right groups in the area of the Czech Republic; and the legal ground, which is a base for an exoneration of those groups. In the second part, it is needed to mention the historical background, because most of contemporary far-right groups are referring themselves to the NSDAP heritage. The third part is methodological, it explains the theory of Sherry B. Ortner as a basis for the next chapter's analysis of some of the symbols, which are used not just by neo-Nazi groups. For a conclusion, it is worth to add that it is difficult to understand the problematics within the base of an only one work, in this case an anthropological optics, for this problematics is very comlex and it is only possible to solve it with some more points of view being undertaken.
