Obojživelníci jsou jednou z nejrozmanitějších a zároveň nejohroženějších skupin obratlovců na celém světě. I přes nedávné pokroky ve výzkumu obojživelníků se však podobné pozornosti nedostává jejich parazitům. Amphibians represent one of the most diverse yet endangered groups of vertebrates worldwide. Despite recent advancements in amphibian research, their parasites have not received nearly as much attention. Therefore, this thesis aims to provide new insights into apicomplexan blood parasites of anurans, with an emphasis on haemogregarines of the genus Dactylosoma.
