The Leasing application in business sectors

Abstract:

The aim of my diploma thesis is the explanation of the importance of the leasing used by entrepreneurs and to point our the advantages and disadvantages of the leasing. The most common problem faced by entrepreneurs is the lack of capital that slows down the development of the financing of the company and therefore, entrepreneurs are trying to find available sources of financing in order to attain the stable growth of the company. In the business environment, there are companies that hold strong position on the market having better position in getting financing of capital. However, rational planning of the cashflow and of the new investments are of importance for these companies, as well. Therefore, it is of interest of all kind of companies to find the best sources of financing. This diploma thesis deals with the use of leasing by entrepreneurs. At the same time, also other ways of financing, e.g. bank credit and factoring, and their comparison are explained in this diploma work. When deciding on the way of financing of capital, besides the cost of capital one needs to take into consideration some other aspects - the impact on cashflow and the liquidity, the time the provision of financing takes, the size of collateral and the tax-costs related aspects. Every entrepreneur is unique and it has to consider individually which form of financing is the most appropriate by comparing all the financing possibilities from its individual point of view.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je význam uplatnenia lízingu u podnikateľských jednotiek, upozorniť na výhody a na nevýhody lízingu. Najčastejším problémom podnikateľských subjektov je nedostatok kapitálu, ktorý spomaľuje rozvoj financovania, preto hľadajú dostupné možnosti získania kapitálu a tak dosiahnuť rastúci trend rozvoja firmy. V podnikateľskom prostredí sú firmy, ktoré majú svoje postavenie na trhu a majú kapitálovú silu. Rozumné plánovanie cashfow a nové investície sú potrebné aj u týchto firiem. Preto všetky podnikateľské subjekty hľadajú informácie a spôsoby o najvhodnejšej využívanej forme financovania. Moja diplomová práca sa venuje uplatneniu lízingu u podnikateľských jednotiek. Zároveň sú spomenuté aj iné možnosti ako bankový úver, faktoring a porovnávanie jednotlivých foriem financovania. Pri výbere financovania a získania kapitálu sa posudzujú nielen celkové náklady na financovanie, ale aj dopad na cash flow a likviditu podniku, rýchlosť obstarania, výšku zábezpeky, možnosť uplatnenia výdavkov do daňových nákladov. Každý podnikateľský subjekt je individuálny a zvažuje, ktorá forma financovania je najvhodnejšia, a to porovnávaním jednotlivých hľadísk, ktoré sú ním preferované.
