The issue of the transcript of lute tablature for guitar
Abstract:
Diplomová práce „Problematika transkripce loutnových tabulatur pro kytaru“ pojednává o loutnové a kytarové stavbě, technikách hry na tyto nástroje a popisuje řadu problémů spojených s úpravou loutnové hudby pro kytaru, které jsou uvažovány v kontextu s autorovou transkripcí suity F - dur Silvia Leopolda Weisse, první suity v Londýnském manuskriptu.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis „Transcription of lute tabulatures for classical guitar” deals with the construction of lute and guitar, techniques used for playing these instruments and explains certain problems associated with transcribing lute music for guitar, which are presented in the context of author’s transcription of Suite in F-major by Silvius Leopold Weiss, first suite in the London manuscript.
