The Operation, Appearance and Significance of German companies in Mohelnice after the year 1989.

Abstract:

This study deals with the development of German industry in Mohelnice.The introduction covers development of entrepreneurialism in Mohelnice historically and the influence of German businesses on it. The paper analyses current activities of two German companies, SIEMENS ELEKTROMOTORY s. r. o. and HELLA AUTOTECHNIK s. r. o. in the area and their development after the year 1989 to the present time. As well as other factors, the increase and structure of employees was directly proportional to the expansion of the companies. The end of the study points to the influence, effort and importance of these companies for the development of the town and enriching the quality of people´s lives in it.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vývojem německého průmyslu ve městě Mohelnice. V úvodním historickém přehledu nastiňuje vývoj podnikání v Mohelnici od založení města do roku 1945 a podíl německého etnika na něm. Dále popisuje podnikatelské aktivity dvou německých firem, a to SIEMENS ELEKTROMOTORY s. r. o. a HELLA AUTOTECHNIK s. r. o. ve městě po roce 1989 a rozvoj těchto společností, který je dokládán například změnami ve stavech a struktuře zaměstnanců. Závěrem práce poukazuje na význam těchto firem pro rozvoj města Mohelnice a zlepšení života jeho obyvatel.
