Práce se zabývá problémy místního rozvoje a územního plánování. Práce je rozdělená do tří hlavních částí. První kapitola vysvětluje pojem region, jaké typy regionů existují a jak se administrativně člení Česká republika. The topic of this diploma thesis is the issues of local development and spatial planning. This thesis is divided into three main chapters. First chapter describes what is region, what types of region exist and how is the Czech Republic administrativly divided.
