The influence of the management style on the activity of non-profit organization

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je vliv stylu řízení na činnost neziskové organizace. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy nezisková organizace, zisková organizace, význam managementu, osobnost manažera, jeho role v organizaci, motivace zaměstnanců, vývoj stylu řízení a vedení týmu. V práci jsou také vysvětleny rozdíly mezi užívanými pojmy řízení a vedení. Práce se dále věnuje roli vedoucího týmu a stylům řízení, které mohou jednotliví vedoucí pracovníci využívat. Popsány jsou také techniky a nástroje řízení týmu a specifika řízení v neziskové organizaci poskytující sociální služby. V metodologické části bude definován cíl výzkumu a výzkumné otázky, dále budou zvoleny techniky sběru a analýzy výzkumných dat, jejich interpretace a také výběr zkoumaného vzorku. V empirické části pak bude realizován samotný výzkum, jehož výstupem bude zhodnocení stylů řízení vedoucích pracovníků a jejich vliv na činnost organizace ve čtyřech vybraných neziskových organizacích poskytujících sociální služby.

Abstract:

The theme of the diploma thesis is the influence of the management style on the activities of a non-profit organization. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic notions of a non-profit organization, a profit organization, the importance of management, the personality of the manager, his role in the organization, the motivation of the employees, the development of the management style and the management of the team. The differences between the concepts of management and management are also explained in the thesis. The thesis also deals with the role of the team leader and the management styles that individual managers can use. Also described are team management techniques and tools and management specifics in a nonprofit organization providing social services. In the methodological part, the research and research questions will be defined, as well as techniques for the collection and analysis of the research data, their interpretation and the selection of the studied sample. In the empirical part, the research itself will be carried out, the output of which will be an evaluation of the leadership management styles and their influence on the organization's activities in four selected non-profit organizations providing social services.
