Influence of tire rolling resistance on motor vehicle consumption

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci na téma Vliv valivého odporu pneumatik na spotřebu motorového vozidla jsou shrnuty a rozděleny druhy jízdních odporů. Je zde uvedena současná legislativa s porovnáním hodnot z původní normy pro emise motorových vozidel a seznámení s nastávající normou pro emise vozidel. Dále je tu představeno technické řešení, které podle Evropské unie zlepšuje jízdní vlastnosti a v neposlední řadě snižuje spotřebu a emise CO2. V práci jsou také popsány jízdní odpory, které na vozidlo působí. Pro experimentální měření je popsaná metodika. Výsledky z měření jsou statisticky zpracovány do grafů, ze kterého můžeme vidět účinky hustoty tlaku v pneumatikách na valivý odpor vozidla. V závěru jsou shrnuty dosažené výsledky, které byly naměřeny.

Abstract:

In this diploma thesis on the topic the influence of tire rolling resistance on the consumption of a motor vehicle, the types of driving resistances are summarized and divided. It presents the current legislation with a comparison of values from the original standard for motor vehicle emissions and an introduction to the forthcoming standard for vehicle emissions. Furthermore, a technical solution is presented which, according to the European Union, improves driving characteristics and, last but not least, reduces consumption and CO2 emissions. The work also describes the driving resistances that act on the vehicle. For experimental measurements, the methodology is described, according to which the measurements were performed. The results of the measurements were statistically processed into a graph, from which we can see the effects of tire pressure density on the rolling resistance of the vehicle. In the end, the achieved results are summarized and measured.
