Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem událostí tzv. sametové revoluce a pandemie covidu–19 na folklórní hnutí v České republice, a to na příkladu folklórních souborů Bača a Mezříčan z Valašského Meziříčí. Teoretická část zahrnuje stručné informace o vývoji folklórního hnutí v celé zemi i ve Valašském Meziříčí, o městě samotném i dosavadním bádaní v tématu.
