Cílem této práce je analýza 5. arabsko-izraelského konfliktu, známého pod názvem Jomkipurská válka a také mediační role USA v něm. Konflikt byl takto pojmenován díky svátku Jom kipur, neboť právě v den jeho oslav byl zahájen překvapivý arabský útok vůči Izraeli. Abstract:
The object of this work is an analysis of the Arabic-Israeli conflict known as the Yom Kippur war and the mediative involement of the USA in this conflict. The name of the war is based on the Yom Kippur festival which was held just on that day when the surprising attack against Israel started.
