Diplomová práce nastiňuje vyvoj a hlavní myšlenky geometrické abstrakce ve vytvarném umění u nás od začátku dvacátého století po současnost. Dále mapuje činnost uměleckych skupin i jednotlivych autorů zaměřenych na geometrickou abstrakci. Jádro práce pak spočívá ve zpracování popisu tvůrčích aktivit tří umělců, kteří byvají označováni jako skryti, neboť jejich tvorba zůstává poněkud ve stínu známějších …more
Abstract:
The thesis outlines the development and key concepts of geometric abstraction in Czech fine art with respect to historical circumstances from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. Moreover, its aim is to survey the activity of several artistic groups and the production of individual artists focused on geometric abstraction.
