Předmětem práce je trest odnětí svobody a jeho výkon. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretickou část tvoří historický exkurs do vývoje trestu odnětí svobody, účel trestu odnětí svobody, alternativy k trestu odnětí svobody a právní a psychologické aspekty trestu odnětí svobody. My thesis deals with imprisonment and execution of a punishment. My thesis is presented in two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical section deals with the historicaal excursion into the development of an imprisonment, the purpose of imprisonment, alternative punishments, psychological and legal aspects.
