The issue of Outlaw Motorcycle gangs

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou motorkářských gangů, která je z pohledu studia bezpečnostně právního oboru zajímavým tématem. Ve své práci jsem se v jednotlivých kapitolách zabýval historií vzniku motorkářských gangů, rozdělením motorkářské scény a představením nejznámějších světových motorkářských gangů. V souvislosti s těmito gangy jsem popsal jejich hierarchickou strukturu a symboliku, kterou vyjadřují svou skupinovou identitu k motorkářské subkultuře. Dále jsem se ve své práci zabýval kriminálními činnostmi motocyklových gangů, organizovaným zločinem a zhodnocením, zda mohou být tyto činnosti bezpečnostním rizikem. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je popsat historii vzniku motocyklových gangů, jejich zapojení do nelegálních aktivit a zhodnocení, zda jejich kriminální činnosti mohou představovat bezpečnostní riziko.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of motorcycle gangs, which is an interesting topic from the point of view of the study of security law. In my work, in individual chapters I dealt with the history of the creation of motorcycle gangs, the division of the motorcycle scene and the introduction of the world's most famous motorcycle gangs. In relation to these gangs, I have described their hierarchy and the symbolism they use to show their dominance in the biker scene and differentiate themselves from other bikers. Furthermore, in my work I dealt with the criminal activities of motorcycle gangs, so that I could finally evaluate whether the activities of these gangs represent a security risk. The aim of my work is to describe the history of the creation of motorcycle gangs and their involvement in illegal activities. When writing my bachelor's thesis, I primarily used data collection from all available sources.
