Comparative Analysis of the New Textbooks of Russian Language in the Czech Market

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu a hodnocení tří učebnic ruského jazyka určených pro žáky začátečníky. Konkrétně se jedná o tituly Echo 1, Vremena 1 a Tvoj šans 1, které nemají vymezení pro konkrétní ročník či stupeň školy a po jejichž prostudování žák dosáhne jazykové úrovně A1. Zároveň všechny vybrané učebnice mají anebo měly schvalovací doložku Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy. V teoretické části se věnujeme obecně učebnici jako pojmu a kritériím, která můžeme na základě dostupné literatury pokládat za podstatná pro vyhodnocení kvality učebnic. Dále zde podrobně popisujeme techniku užívání rastrů, tedy seznamů hodnoticích kritérií, pomocí kterých jednotlivé učebnice hodnotíme. Praktická část je již věnovaná samotné analýze a hodnocení jednotlivých učebních textů. Ty na závěr porovnáváme nejen celkově, ale především na bázi jednotlivých kritérií.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the analysis and evaluation of three Russian language textbooks for beginners. Namely there are the books "Echo 1", "Vremena 1" and "Tvoj šans 1" which are not determined for specific class or grade and after their finishing the students should obtain the A1 language level. At the same time all the selected books have had (or had) approval clause of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. In the theoretical part we pay attention in general to the textbook as a concept and the criteria which we can consider to be essential for its quality evaluation (based on available literature). Next we describe in detail the method of using the grids - it means the lists of evaluation standards which help us to assess particular textbooks. The practical part deals with the analysis itself and particular teaching texts rating. In the end we compare the texts not only in general but primarily on the basis of particular standards.
