Abstract:
Pro onemocnění diabetes mellitus je charakteristická hyperglykemie, která způsobuje změny v intenzitě transkripce řady genů. Ty pak přispívají k urychlené ateroskleróze a dalším cévním komplikacím typickým pro diabetes. Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterised by hyperglycemia with subsequent changes in gene expression. Those changes contribute to accelerated atherosclerosis and other vascular complications associated with diabetes.
