The Role of CNB on the Capital Market

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Role ČNB na kapitálovém trhu“ je zaměřena na vykonávání dohledu nad kapitálovým trhem před a po roce 2006 a na zákonnou úpravu související s kapitálovým trhem. V práci je i zohledněna role ČNB při přijetí eura a v době finanční krize. Práce má 6 kapitol a obsahuje čtyři přílohy. První kapitola je o kapitálovém trhu jako takovém, o právní úpravě vymezující burzovní a mimoburzovní trh a o historii vývoje trhu v České republice. Následující dvě kapitoly se věnují kontrole kapitálového trhu prováděné Komisí pro cenné papíry a Českou národní bankou. Na to navazují způsoby dohledu v jiných evropských zemích. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována euru, jeho přijetí a výhodám a nevýhodám z toho plynoucím. Druhá část kapitoly se zaměřuje na finanční krizi a pojištění vkladů. V páté kapitole je analýza právní úpravy. První část poukazuje na zákon o podnikání na kapitálovém trhu a druhá část na zákon o cenných papírech. Poslední šestá kapitola objasňuje pojem MiFID a jaký vliv to má na investory.

Abstract:

The thesis “Role of CNB on the Capital Market” is focused on taking control over the capital market before and after the year 2006 and on the legislative regulation related to the capital market. In the thesis, the role of CNB by acceptation of the euro and in the period of financial crisis is concerned. The thesis has 6 chapters and contains 4 appendices. The first chapter is about the capital market as a whole, about the regularization of the trading on the stock exchange and outside it, and about the history of the development of the market in the Czech Republic. The next two chapters are devoted to control over the capital market taken by the Securities Commission and the Czech National Bank. This is continued by the ways of control in other European countries. The forth chapter is devoted to euro, its acceptation and the advantages and disadvantages resulting from this. The second part of the chapter is focused on the financial crisis and the deposit insurance. In the fifth chapter is the analysis of the regularization. The first part is about the law on trading on the capital market, and the second one about the securities law. The last sixth chapter explains the term MiFID and its influence on investors.
