Employee satisfaction in the private education sector

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vlivem jednotlivých faktorů na spokojenost a motivaci zaměstnanců. S cílem zjistit spokojenost zaměstnanců v anonymizovaných školských subjektech v Hradci Králové s odměňováním, spokojeností a motivací. V první části jsou přiblíženy teoretické poznatky související s tématem práce. V druhé části je zpracován kvantitativní výzkum spokojenosti zaměstnanců pomoci dotazníkového šetření. Dotazníkové šetření bylo rozesláno online formou všem zaměstnancům školských subjektů, bylo dosaženo zhruba 65 % návratnosti. Dotazník byl dále obohacen o rozhovor s majitelem zmíněných společností. Výsledek dotazníku, jak jsou celkově spokojeni s motivováním vyšel jako spíše spokojený, dle literatury je to optimálním hodnocením. V závěru jsou doporučeny určité změny pro dosažení vyšší spokojenosti zaměstnanců, zaměřený převážně na vyšší komunikaci mezi zaměstnavatelem a zaměstnancem, či obecně napříč úrovni ve společnosti, ale také na větší zpětnou vazbu hlavně tu pozitivní.

Abstract:

Main focus of this particular thesis is on the influence of each individual factors included in satisfaction and motivation of employees. Within the research, we were finding the satisfaction of employees in anonymous school subjects with regards to each individual factor that influence them. In the first part of this thesis, we take a closer look on theoretical findings that correlate with the topic of the work. Second part includes quantitative research on employee satisfaction which is processed using a questionnaire survey. Questionnaire survey was sent out via an online form to all employees of the private school complex under investigation, with a return rate of approximately 65%. The questionnaire was further enriched by an interview with the owner of the mentioned companies. The result of the research brought the finding that the employees of the investigated entity are generally rather satisfied, which according to the theoretical literature is an optimal assessment. Possible recommendations for achieving higher employee satisfaction can be derived from the research conclusions.
