Tato práce se zabývá třemi představiteli římského stoicismu a jejich etickými názory na otázky smrti, vášní, duše a osudu. Představeni zde jsou Marcus Aurelius Antonius Augustus, Lucius Annaeus Seneca a Marcus Tullius Cicero. Nejdříve je nastíněna podstata stoicismu, jeho vývoj a specifika římské stoy. This thesis presents three representants of the roman stoicism and their ethical opinions on questions of death, passions, soul and fate. Presented are Marcus Aurelius Antonius Augustus, Lucius Annaeus Seneca and Marcus Tullius Cicero. First is presented the essence of stoicism, its development and specifics of the roman stoa.
