Cílem této práce je popsat působení statistika v klinické studii, teoreticky popsat vybrané okruhy ze statistiky a pravděpodobnosti, které se využívají v klinických studiích - testování hypotéz rovnosti, superiority, noninferiority a ekvivalence, vybrané jednovýběrové a dvouvýběrové parametrické testy spojitého a binárního parametru, výpočet velikosti vzorku a průběžné testování.
