The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to summarize important backgrounds which led to the Jacobite risings. Furthermore, it describes the period between 1603 - 1746 which was crucial in terms of formation and decline of the Jacobite movement in England and Scotland. Cílem této práce je sumarizovat důležitá období, která vedla k jakobitským povstáním. Tato práce popisuje období mezi lety 1603 - 1746, které bylo kličové pro vznik a úpadek jakobitského hnutí v Anglii a Skotsku. Práce dále popisuje jednotlivá období a jejich vladaře.
