40 years of Milevsko Childrenś Choir and its importance for the life of the region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce stručně reflektuje historii sborového zpěvu v Milevsku od roku 1862 až po současnost. Cílem je poskytnout informace o historii, vývoji a současném působení Milevského dětského sboru, seznámení s jeho vedením, průběhem jednotlivých zkoušek, účastí na kulturních akcích, největšími úspěchy sboru a jeho repertoárem. Práce je koncipována tak, aby systematicky rok od roku přiblížila uměleckou činnost Milevského dětského sboru. Sbor za celou svou uměleckou činnost, která trvá již čtyřicet let, uskutečnil stovky koncertů nejen u nás, ale i v zahraničí. Svými výkony se zařadil mezi nejlepší dětská tělesa na jihu Čech. Činnost sboru je samozřejmě podmíněna lidmi, v této práci je tedy nastíněna zásluha sbormistryně i osob, které se sborem spolupracovali. Součástí této práce je také soupis všech skladeb, které sbor nastudoval, fotodokumentace a na přiloženém kompaktním disku některé ze skladeb v podání Milevského dětského sboru.

Abstract:

This thesis briefly presents the history of choral singing in Milevsko from 1862 to the present. The aim of the work is not only to provide the information about the history, development and current work of Milevsko Children's Choir, but also to introduce its conductance, the course of every rehearsal, the choir´s participation in various cultural events, as well as its greatest achievements and the choir repertoir. The work is designed in order to describe the artistic activity of the choir systematically year by year. During its performing life, lasting for forty years, Milevsko Children´s Choir has given hundreds of concerts both in our country and abroad. The choir´s performance has ranked among the best children's bodies in South Bohemia. The choir activity certainly depends on people; that is why the present thesis deals with the merit of the conductor and the persons who have co-operated with the choir. This work also includes the list of all the songs rehearsed by the choir, the photographs, as well as the attached CD of some songs performed by Milevsko Children's Choir.
