Comparison of the level and balance of the listed national and international dressage tests using the Equimo tracking device

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nese název Porovnání úrovně a vyváženosti vypsaných národních a mezinárodních drezurních úloh za použití měřícího zařízení Equimo tracker. Jejím cílem bylo získat informace o drezurních úlohách. Sledována byla jejich délka trvání, vzdálenost, rozložení stran v jednotlivých chodech a spálené kalorie. Bylo vybráno dvanáct drezurních úloh z pěti stupňů obtížností Z až T. Každá úloha byla zajeta třikrát. Všechna testování prováděl jeden jezdec na jednom koni pomocí přístroje Equimo. Obecně by se dalo zhodnotit, že z pohledu délky trvání, vzdálenosti a spálených kalorií se velice podobaly stupně obtížností Z a L a následně S, ST a T. Nejvíce extrémní rozdílnosti byly pozorovány v rozložení stran u úlohy DU-A a v délce trvání u úlohy Z4.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is entitled Comparison of the level and balance of the listed national and international dressage tests using the Equimo tracking device. Its goal was to get information about dressage tests. Their duration, distance, symmetry in each gait, and calories burned were observed. Twelve dressage tests were chosen from five levels of difficulty Z to T. Each test was registered three times. All testing was performed by one rider on one horse using the Equimo device. In general, it could be evaluated that, from the point of view of duration, distance, and calories burned, the degrees of difficulty Z and L were very similar, followed by S, ST, and T. The most extreme differences were found in the symmetry of the sides for the DU-A test and the duration of the Z4 test.
