This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of islam, closer a picture of Islam in German and Czech news. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is focused on on basic information about the media, Islam and the compilation of the newspaper corpus and its subsequent analysis. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou islámu, blíže vyobrazením islámu v německých a českých médiích. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní informace o médiích, islámu a sestavení novinového korpusu a jeho následnou analýzu.
