Creative work as an activating activity for a client with multiple sclerosis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na několik výtvarných aktivit, díky kterým klientka s roztroušenou sklerózou vyjde ze stereotypního stylu života, trénuje jemnou a hrubou motoriku, estetické cítění. Jedním z hlavních cílů je, aby se nemocná dokázala vyrovnat se svým onemocněním. Z počátku své práce se věnuji nemoci jako takové, jejímu výskytu či typům průběhu nemoci, také popisuji dané omezení klientky skrze kazuistiku. Dále popisuji definici arteterapie, jelikož při práci s klientkou využívám její přístupy. Jsou zde zmíněny aktivizační činnosti, druhy aktivizace a jejich uplatnění. Nechybí ani část věnovaná výtvarnému umění, která obsahuje výběr několika umělců, kteří do svých prací zařadili aktivizaci, umělce, kteří měli tělesné omezení nebo umělce, kteří pro mou práci byli inspirativní. Poté text přechází do praktické části, kde popisuji vzhled a průběh sezení, zadání jednotlivých aktivit a reflexi. Poslední část práce tvoří závěr a fotodokumentace.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on several art activities, thanks to which a client with Multiple Sclerosis comes out of a stereotypical lifestyle, trains fine and gross motor skills, aesthetic feeling, one of the main goals is for the patient to be able to cope with her illness.In the theoretical part I deal with the disease as such, its occurrence or types of the course of the disease, I also describe the client's limitations through the case study. I also describe the definition of art therapy, as I use her approaches when working with the client. Activation activities, types of activation and their application are mentioned here. There is also a section devoted to fine arts, which contains a selection of several artists who included activation in their works, who had physical limitations or artists who were inspiring for my work.In the practical part I describe the appearance and course of the session, the assignment of individual activities and reflection. The last part of the work consists of a conclusion and photo documentation.
