Crowdfunding as an Alternative Financing Form in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem "Crowdfunding jako alternativní forma financování v České republice" si klade za cíl analyzovat současný český výběr crowdfundingových platforem, poté platformy podle typu porovnat mezi sebou a zhodnotit potenciál tohoto financování v České republice. V teoretické části je pojem zasazen do širšího kontextu pomocí literární rešerše. Jsou zde popsaná výhody a nevýhody, regulace i historie. Dále je crowdfunding rozdělen do jednotlivých modelů a je vysvětlena jejich podstata. Třetí kapitola je věnována crowdfundingu v České republice. Kapitola čtyři pokrývá analýzu vybraných platforem crowdfundingu. Tyto zvolené platformy jsou v analytické částky blíže popsány a podle zvolených parametrů porovnávány. Na závěr každé podkapitoly v praktické části je představena SWOT analýza. Empirickou částí se uzavírají celková shrnutí uvedených analýz a zhodnotí se potenciál crowdfundingu v České republice podle názoru autorky práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis entitled "Crowdfunding as an Alternative Financing Form in the Czech Republic", seeks to analyze the current Czech crowdfunding platform selection, compare platforms by kind, and assess the potential of crowdfunding in the Czech Republic. The term is defined in a larger sense through literary studies in the theoretical section. Here are described the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the regulations and history. Furthermore, crowdfunding is divided into different models, which are described in detail. The third chapter is devoted to crowdfunding in the Czech Republic. Chapter four covers selected crowdfunding platforms. These selected platforms are described in the analytical part and compared according to the selected parameters. At the end of each subchapter in the practical part, a SWOT analysis is presented. The empirical parts conclude with a summary of the SWOT analysis and evaluation of the potential of crowdfunding in the Czech Republic in the opinion of the author.
