Bakalárska práca s názvom „Možnosti korekcie afakie u detského pacienta“ sa najskôr zaoberá anatomickou stavbou a embryologickým vývojom očnej šošovky. V ďalšej časti je popísaný rast detského oka, zmena axiálnej dĺžky a keratometické hodnoty. Je tu popísaná aj axiálna refrakcia oka s danými parametrami, pokiaľ je takéto oko afakické.
