The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the theme of a double in the literary production of the Portuguese modernist author, Mário de Sá- Cerneiro, based on his three short stories chosen from the collection Céu em Fogo. Cieľom mojej bakalárskej diplomovej práce je analýza témy dvojníka u portugalského modernistického autora, Mária de Sá- Cerneira, na základne troch poviedok vybraných zo zbierky Céu em Fogo. Prácu som rozdelila na dve časti: teoretickú a praktickú. V teoretickej časti pojednávam o osobe Sá-Carneira a o avantgardných tendenciách začiatku XX. storočia v Portugalsku.
