Tato bakalářská práce popisuje roli knihoven v letech 1945-1989. Práce je případovou studií, a jako taková se zaměřuje na Městskou knihovnu v Bohumíně. Blíže se věnuje působení knihovny v období poválečném a totalitním, a to na základě studia archivních materiálů a hloubkového rozhovoru s bývalou pracovnicí knihovny. This bachelor thesis describes the role of libraries in ages 1945-1989. The work is a case study and as such focuses on the City library in Bohumín. The thesis takes a closer look on the working of the library in the post-war and totalitarian period, based on the study of archive materials and in-depth interview with former library worker.
