Collagen hydrolysate as a functional polymer in cosmetic formulation

Abstract:

Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na popis kůže, její stavbu a stárnutí. Dále jsou zmíněny biotechnologie, např. kyselina hyaluronová. Další kapitola o pokusech na zvířatech, její historie, výhody, nevýhody a alternativy k testování. V praktické části byl ověřen vliv a schopnost připraveného kosmetického prostředku na bázi kuřecích žaludků redukovat vrásky. Studie byla provedena na 11 dobrovolníků (8 žen a 3 muži) v průměrném věku 22 ? 3 let. Byla měřena TEWL, hydratace, pH pokožky, vrásky, skvrny a póry po dvou měsících aplikace (2 x denně). Kosmetická formulace byla připravena o dvou koncentracích, a to 1 % a 5 %. Z výsledků studie vyplynulo, že připravený KP má pozitivní efekt zmenšení hloubky vrásek.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the description of the skin, its structure and aging. Further mentioned Biotechnology, like hyaluronic acid. Another chapter on animal experiments, their history, advantages, disadvantages and alternatives to trials. In the practical part, the effect and ability of prepared cosmetics on the basis of chicken stomachs to reduce wrinkles have been tested. The study was performed on 11 volunteers (8 women and 3 men) with an average age of 22 3 years. TEWL, moisturizing, pH of skin, wrinkles, spots and pores were measured after two months of use (twice a day). The cosmetic formulation was prepared in two concentrations: 1% and 5%. The results of the study showed that the prepared CT has a positive effect on the reduction of the depth of wrinkles.
