Zootherapy in social services in the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce nese jméno Zooterapie v sociálních službách v Ústeckém kraji. Předmětem této práce je vnímání canisterapie z pohledu osob pracujících v sociálních službách. Pro účely této práce jsou danými osobami sociální pracovníci a pracovníci v sociálních službách. Práce se bude zabývat problematikou zooterapie, ale především pak jedním typem, a to konktrétně canisterapií jako léčebným prostředkem za pomoci psa. Prostřednictvím této práce budou objasněny mnohé pojmy a dělení související s touto problematikou, jakož i její historický kontext. Dále zde bude ukotven pojem sociální služby a zařízení, ve kterých probíhal samotný výzkum. Ten bude proveden kvalitativním šetřením, jehož metodou bude strukturovaný rozhovor s osmi respondenty v celkem čtyřech zařízeních sociálních služeb. Cílem celé této práce je zjistit, jak pracovníci v sociálních službách vnímají canisterapii, a následně snaha o zapojení této léčebné metody do širšího spektra zařízení sociálních služeb.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is called Zootherapy in social services in the Ústí Region. The subject of this thesis is the perception of Canis therapy from the point of view of people working in social services. For the purposes of this work, the persons concerned are social workers and workers in social services. The work will deal with the issue of zootherapy, but above all, Canis therapy itself as a means of treatment with the help of a dog. Through this work, many terms and divisions related to this issue, as well as its historical context, will be clarified. Furthermore, the concept of social services and facilities in which the research itself took place will be anchored here. This will be carried out through a qualitative interview, the method of which will be a structured interview with eight respondents in a total of four social service facilities. The aim of this whole work is to find out how workers in social services perceive Canis therapy, and subsequently to try to involve this treatment method in a wider spectrum of social service facilities.
