Vocal hygiene of beginning teachers and teachers with practice at Primary schools

Abstract:

Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. První část vymezuje základní terminologii teorie hlasu, jeho vzniku, vlastností a měřitelných parametrů, dále pak hlasové hygieny, hlasových poruch a možnosti řešení problémů s hlasem. Výzkumná část práce prezentuje výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjištění vztahu mezi délkou praxe učitelů a jejich informovaností o problematice hlasové hygieny, výskytem hlasových obtíží učitelů, mírou zátěže učitelů a řešením hlasových obtíží. Cílovou skupinou výzkumu byli učitelé 1. stupně ZŠ, kteří byli rozděleni do tří skupin podle délky praxe na učitele začínající (s praxí do 5 let), učitele s praxí od 6 do 14 let a učitele s mnohaletou praxí (15 a více let).

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Fist part defines terms connected with the theory of voice, formation of voice, characteristics and measurement of voice parameters and then vocal hygiene, vocal disorders and possibility of solving the problems with the voice. The research part of the thesis presents the results of quantitative research, whose aim was to determine the relationship between the length of practice of the teachers and the degree of knowledge about vocal hygiene, the occurrence of voice problems, load rate of teachers and the way of dealing with the voice problems. The target group of the research were teachers at the Primary School, who were divided into three groups according to the length of their practice – beginning teachers (with practice up to 5 years), teachers with practice from 6 to 14 years and teachers with many years of practice (15 and more years).
