Beetle (Coleoptera) fauna in the locality Kladské rašeliny (Site of Community Importance Natura 2000)

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce byl monitoring výskytu brouků (Coleoptera) v EVL Kladské rašeliny. Během ročního průzkumu bylo podniknuto celkem 9 exkurzí na Kladská rašeliniště a nasbíráno 839 exemplářů brouků. Brouci byli zařazeni do 21 čeledí, 113 rodů a 155 druhů. V rámci studovaného území se stanovištěm s nejvyšší druhovou diverzitou ukázaly být komplexy vrchovišť, kde bylo zaznamenáno 121 druhů brouků. Vedle druhů v naší přírodě běžných v širší škále stanovišť byly zachyceny také specifické horské druhy a druhy rašelinišť tyrfofilové a tyrfobionti. Nejcennějšími jsou nálezy druhů zařazených do Červeného seznamu bezobratlých (Farkač et al. 2005). Zjištěn zde byl jeden druh z kategorie Kriticky ohrožený (CR) Neocrepidodera nigritula, tři druhy z kategorie Ohrožený (EN) Stenus kiesenwetteri, S. oscillator a Tachyporus transversalis, sedm druhů z kategorie Zranitelný (VU) Ilybius crassus, Aplotarsus incanus, Crenitis punctatostriata, Gymnusa variegata, Hygronoma dimidiata, Philonthus nigrita a Philonthus quisquiliarius a tři druhy z kategorie Téměř ohrožený (NT) Bagous lutulentus, Gymnetron beccabungae a Rhinoncus henningsi. Lze se tedy domnívat, že výsledky této práce tak potvrzují vysokou přírodovědeckou hodnotu tohoto území, které je v západních Čechách, ale i v celé České republice výjimečné koncentrací vzácných organismů vázaných na rašelinná stanoviště. Věřím, že tento příspěvek k poznání fauny brouků se může stát základem pro mnohem zevrubnější výzkum, který by si toto cenné území zasloužilo.

Abstract:

The objective of this thesis was to monitor the beetle (Coleoptera) occurrence in Kladské rašeliny as the Site of Community Importance (belonging to SCI). During a year-long research I took a total of nine excursions to Kladská peat lands and collected 839 beetle specimens there. I classified the beetles into 21 families, 113 genera and 155 species. The raised bogs proved to be the sites of the highest species diversity within the area. I found 121 beetle specimens there. In addition to the species commonly found in a wider range of habitats I also discovered some specific mountain species and peat land types tyrphophiles and tyrphobionts. The most valuable are findings of species included to the Red List of Threatened Species Invertebrates (Farkač & Škorpík 2005). I found that there is one Critically Endangered (CR) species - Neocrepidodera nigritula , three Endangered (EN) - Stenus kiesenwetteri, S. oscillator and Tachyporus transversalis, seven Vulnerable (VU) species - Ilybius crassus, Aplotarsus incanus, Crenitis punctatostriata, Gymnusa variegata, Hygronoma dimidiata, Philonthus nigrita and Philonthus quisquiliarius, and three Near Threatened (NT) species - Bagous lutulentus, Gymnetron beccabungae and Rhinoncus henningsi. I believe that the results of my work can confirm the high scientific value of this area, which is not only in West Bohemia, but in the whole Czech Republic exceptional concentration of rare organisms living in peat habitats. I hope that my contribution to the knowledge of fauna of beetles could become the basis for more comprehensive research which this valuable area is worth of.
