Immunotherapy of melanoma
Abstract:
Melanom diagnostikovaný v nejčasnějších stádích je s vysokou úspěšností léčitelné onenocnění, bohužel v metastázujícím stádiu choroby tradiční terapeutické možnosti jako chirurgie, chemoterapie či radioterapie selhávají. Protože melanom patří k vysoce imunogenním nádorům, mohly by být z tohoto pohledu perspektivní imunoterapeutické přístupy.
Abstract:
Melanoma is highly curable if detected in its earliest stages, unfortunately traditional therapeutic options such as surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy fail in metastatic disease. As melanoma belongs to highly imunogenic tumors immunotherapeutic approaches could be perspective from this point of view.
