Bariéry účasti mladých Čechů na událostech klasické hudby.

Abstract:

Tato disertační práce si klade za cíl důkladně prozkoumat faktory ovlivňující mladé Čechy ve věku 18-24 let při jejich účasti na klasických hudebních událostech. Snaží se odhalit jak bariéry, které brání jejich aktivnímu zapojení, tak i motivační faktory, které je vedou k účasti. Kromě toho se bude zkoumat jejich postoj k této problematice a obecný zájem o hudbu. Dále se práce zaměří na hudební preference této věkové skupiny. Tato disertační práce zdůrazňuje tři hlavní dimenze tohoto výzkumu: Bariéry a Motivační Faktory v Klasické Hudbě: Tato dimenze výzkumu se soustředí na odhalení překážek, které odrazují mladé Čechy (ve věku 18-24 let) od aktivní účasti na klasických hudebních událostech. Analyzuje aspekty jako jsou náklady na vstupenky, dostupnost, nedostatečná informovanost nebo vnímání exkluzivity spojené s klasickou hudbou. Zároveň se snaží identifikovat motivační faktory, které mladé lidi vedou k účasti na klasických hudebních událostech. Tyto motivace mohou zahrnovat osobní zájem, vzdělávací zkušenosti, kulturní význam nebo sociální vlivy spojené s klasickou hudbou. Postoje a Motivace K Klasické Hudbě a Hudbě Obecně: Tato dimenze zkoumá širší postoj mladých Čechů ke klasické hudbě. Analyzuje jejich vnímání relevance klasické hudby, její roli ve společnosti a předchozí předsudky ohledně její složitosti nebo dostupnosti. Kromě toho zkoumá jejich obecný postoj k hudbě jako celku, zahrnující různé hudební žánry a formy vyjádření. To umožní srovnání klasické hudby s jinými žánry a odhalení jedinečných pohledů na hudební preference. Hudební Preference Mladých Čechů: Třetí dimenze výzkumu se zaměřuje pouze na hudební preference mladých Čechů. Zkoumá jejich volbu hudebních žánrů, umělců a zážitků z koncertů. Tato dimenze zahrnuje komplexní přístup a zkoumá nejen klasickou hudbu, ale také populární, současnou a alternativní žánry, aby získala komplexní porozumění hudebnímu prostředí v této věkové skupině. Strukturováním výzkumu tímto způsobem může práce důkladněji zkoumat složitost účasti mladých Čechů na klasické hudbě, rozlišit jejich postoje a motivace klasické hudby od těch spojených s hudbou obecně a poskytnout komplexní přehled o různorodých hudebních preferencích v různých žánrech a stylech. Cíle Disertační Práce: Identifikace Bariér: Prozkoumat a identifikovat konkrétní bariéry bránící mladým Čechům ve věku 18-24 let v účasti na klasických hudebních událostech. To zahrnuje analýzu rozdílů v bariérách mezi aktivními návštěvníky koncertů a pasivními fanoušky. Porozumění Motivacím: Porozumět motivacím a zájmům mladých Čechů o klasickou hudbu a hudbu obecně a zjistit, jak tyto faktory ovlivňují jejich účast na takových klasických událostech nebo událostech obecně. Analýza Hudebních Stylů a Preferencí: Analyzovat různé hudební styly a preference mezi mladými Čechy, zahrnující klasickou hudbu stejně jako populární, současnou a alternativní žánry. Zkoumání Postojů a Předsudků: Zkoumat postoj a předsudky mladých Čechů klasické hudby a klasickým hudebním událostem, včetně jakýchkoli stereotypů nebo nesprávných představ, které by mohli mít. Metodologie: Kvalitativní Přístup Výzkum bude využívat kvalitativní metodologii k získání hlubokého a nuancovaného porozumění faktorům ovlivňujícím účast mladých Čechů na klasických hudebních událostech a hudbě obecně. Tento kvalitativní přístup bude zahrnovat následující klíčové složky: · Hloubkové Rozhovory: Provádět hloubkové, polostrukturované rozhovory s různorodým spektrem účastníků, včetně aktivních návštěvníků koncertů, pasivních fanoušků a odborníků

v oblasti klasické hudby a hudebního vnímání. · Diskuze ve Skupinách: Organizovat diskuse ve skupinách s malými skupinami účastníků, aby se podpořila otevřená a interaktivní komunikace týkající se jejich vnímání, postojů, motivací a preferencí ohledně klasické hudby a hudby obecně. · Vzorkování: Použít účelové vzorkování k zajištění reprezentace různých demografických charakteristik, jako jsou věk, pohlaví a hudební pozadí. Tento přístup pomůže zachytit široké spektrum perspektiv. · Sběr Dat: Zaznamenávat a přepisovat rozhovory a diskuse ve skupinách, aby se zachovalo bohatství odpovědí a interakcí účastníků. · Tematická Analýza: Využít tematickou analýzu jako primární metodu analýzy dat. To zahrnuje systematické identifikování, kódování a analýzu opakujících se témat, vzorů a vyprávění v kvalitativních datech. · Integrace Odborných Názorů: Začlenit poznatky z rozhovorů s odborníky do procesu tematické analýzy k poskytnutí komplexního porozumění sociokulturním faktorům, postojům a vnímání spojeným s klasickou hudbou.

Barriers to participation in classical music events by young Czechs. The thesis aims to delve into the factors influencing young Czechs (aged 18-24) in their participation in classical music events. It seeks to uncover both the barriers preventing their engagement and the motivating factors driving their attendance. Additionally, the research will explore the attitudes and motivations of these individuals concerning classical music and music in general. Lastly, the study will investigate the musical preferences of young Czechs. This thesis highlights three distinct dimensions of the research: 1. Barriers and Motivating Factors in Classical Music Engagement: This dimension of the research focuses on uncovering the obstacles that deter young Czechs (aged 18-24) from participating in classical music events. It will delve into issues such as ticket costs, accessibility, lack of awareness, or perceptions of exclusivity specific to classical music. Simultaneously, it seeks to identify the motivating factors that drive young individuals to attend classical music events. These motivations could include personal interest, educational experiences, cultural significance, or social influences unique to classical music. 2. Attitudes and Motivations Towards Classical Music and Music in General: This dimension explores the broader attitudes and motivations of young Czechs concerning classical music specifically. It examines their perceptions of classical music's relevance, its role in society, and any preconceived notions about its complexity or accessibility. Additionally, it investigates their general attitudes and motivations towards music as a whole, encompassing various genres and forms of musical expression. This allows for a comparison between classical music and other genres, revealing unique insights into their preferences. 3. Musical Preferences Among Young Czechs: The third dimension of the research concentrates solely on the musical preferences of young Czechs. It delves into their choices when it comes to music genres, artists, and live music experiences. This dimension takes a comprehensive approach, examining not only classical music but also popular, contemporary, and alternative genres to gain a comprehensive understanding of the musical landscape within this age group. By structuring the research in this manner, the study can thoroughly investigate the complexities of young Czechs' engagement with classical music, distinguish their attitudes and motivations regarding classical music from those related to music in general, and provide a comprehensive overview of their diverse musical preferences across different genres and styles. Goals of the Master’s Thesis: 1. Identifying Barriers: To explore and identify the specific barriers that prevent young Czechs aged 18-24 from participating in classical music events. This includes analyzing differences in barriers faced by active concert attendees and passive fans. 2. Understanding Motivations: To understand the motivations and interests of young Czechs in classical music and music in general and determine how these factors influence their attendance at such classical events or events in general. 3. Analyzing Musical Styles and Preferences: To analyze different musical styles and preferences among young Czechs, encompassing classical music as well as popular, contemporary, and alternative genres. 4. Exploring Attitudes and Perceptions: To explore the attitudes and perceptions of young Czechs towards classical music and classical music events, including any stereotypes or misconceptions they may hold. Methodology: Qualitative Approach The research will employ a qualitative methodology to gain a deep and nuanced understanding of the factors influencing young Czechs' participation in classical music events and music generally. This approach will help capture a broad spectrum of perspectives. · Data Collection: Record and transcribe interviews and focus group discussions to preserve the richness of participants' responses and interactions. · Thematic Analysis: Utilize thematic analysis as the primary data analysis method. This involves systematically identifying, coding, and analyzing recurring themes, patterns, and narratives within the qualitative data. · Integration of Expert Insights: Integrate insights from expert interviews into the thematic analysis process to provide a comprehensive understanding of sociocultural factors, attitudes, and perceptions related to classical music.
