Abstract:

Základem této práce je praktický umělecký výtvor. V první teoretické části se věnuje historii herbářů, papíru a knižní vazby. Najdeme zde pojmy, které jsou v těchto oblastech nejdůležitější. Uvedeni jsou významní autoři, instituce a akce, v krátkosti si přiblížíme jaká je knižní vazba dnes. V druhé části je popsáný proces výroby herbáře, který však není klasický, nenajdeme v něm žádné studie ani popisy vlastností bylin. Byliny jsou zastoupeny přímo v papíru, který je opatřen průsvitkou určité byliny. Herbář je pak svázán harmonikovou vazbou a potištěn slepotiskem.

Abstract:

The basis of the thesis is a handmade piece of art. In the theoretical part I delineate the history of herbariums, paper and bookbinding. This part includes the most important terms of these subjects. I introduce significant authors, institutions and events and briely describe the bookbinding of today. In the second part I describe the process of making a herbarium, one that doesn’t contain studies or descriptions of herb traits. The herbs are represented directly in the paper and the tracing paper. The herbariun is then binded in a harmonica binding with blind stamping.
