Preparation of new esters of glycosides

Abstract:

The aim of this work was the preparation of monosaccharide ester derivatives. The work presented was developed in two parts, corresponding to two sets of esters derivatives obtained from two different starting glucosides. The objective of the first part of the work was the preparation of a set of esters from primary hydroxyl group (6-position) of the D-glucose. By published methods was obtained the alcohol component, starting from ?Ń-methyl-D-glucoside. At the second part of this work, copper(I) 1,3-dipolar azide-alkyne cycloaddition (click reaction) was selected to be the synthetic process to obtain 1,4-dissubstituted 1,2,3-triazole glucoside, the alcohol component. As acid components were used benzoic acid and its derivatives, including analogues of salicylic acid containing bromine as a reactive site for further modifications; aryl-acetic acids; Z-glycine; L-phenylalanine; palmitic acid and a sulfonamide.

Abstract:

Úkolem této práce byla příprava esterů monosacharidů. Předložená práce obsahuje dvě části, kde každá část obsahuje estery připravené z rozdílných glykosidů. V první části práce byl připraven set esterů na primární hydroxylové skupině D-glukosy (posice 6). Publikovanou metodou byla připravena výchozí komponenta, vycházejíce z .-methyl-D-glukosidu. V druhé části této práce byly připraveny 1,4-disubstituované 1,2,3-triazol- glykosidy a to 1,3-dipolární azid-alkyn cykloadicí (click reakce) jako alkoholová komponenta pro přípravu esterů. Jako karboxylové kyseliny byla použita kyselina benzoová, jakož její deriváty, zahrnujíce rovněž analoga salicylové kyseliny, která obsahovala brom jakožto reaktivní centrum pro další chemické modifikace. Jako kyseliny pro přípravu esterů byly rovněž použity aryl deriváty kyseliny octové, Z-glycin, L-fenylalanin; palmitová kyselina a jeden sulfonamid.
