The INA Privatization Process
Abstract:
The INA Privatisation Act 2002 is a key legislation which allowed privatisation of Croatian Energy Company INA. In 2003 MOL, Hungarian Energy Company, became a strategic investor in INA. Croatian Government has eliminated its share also for the benefit of other eligible entities. Takeover of strategic control by MOL in 2009 was connected with corruption scandal. Zákon o privatizácii spoločnosti INA z roku 2002 otvoril dvere k privatizácii chorvátskej energetickej spoločnosti INA. Strategickým investorom v INA sa v roku 2003 stala spoločnosť MOL, pričom chorvátska vláda eliminovala štátny podiel i v prospech iných oprávnených entít.
