Legal Status of Arbitrator in International Commercial Arbitration

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the legal status of arbitrator in international commercial arbitration. My goal is to describe the role of the arbitrator in arbitration proceedings and to compare his legal status with the status of judge in civil proceedings. For the succesful achievement of this goal, have I chosen the most suitable structure professional approach. The main text includes the crucial theoretical conceptions, detailed summary of main sources of law and description of legal relationships in international arbitration including an arbitrator as a party.

Abstract:

Táto práca je venovaná postaveniu rozhodcu v medzinárodnom rozhodcovskom konaní. Mojim cieľom je popísať úlohu rozhodcu v rozhodcovskom konaní a porovnať jeho postavenie s postavením sudcu v civilnom procese. Pre úspešné dosiahnutie tohto cieľa som vybral najvhodnejšiu štruktúru a odborný prístup. Hlavný text zahrňuje zásadné teoretické koncepcie, detailný súhrn hlavný prameňov práva a popis právnych vzťahov v medzinárodnom rozhodcovskom konaní zahrňujúcich rozhodcu ako jedného zo strán vzťahu.
