The system of care for drug addicts in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá uceleným systémem směřujícím k drogově závislým jedincům v České republice. Práce vychází ze stručného popisu české drogové scény před rokem 1989 a především po roce 1989, zohledňující možnosti pomoci drogově závislým jedincům. Stručně popisuje vývoj a potřebnost vytvoření systému péče pro drogově závislé jedince. Zároveň se bude zabývat příslušnými institucemi nabízenými specifickými službami a samostatným významem systému péče o drogově závislé jedince. V rámci regionálního pohledu se autorka zaměřuje na Moravskoslezský region, na konkrétní instituce a programy zaměřené na drogově závislé jedince. Také se bude věnovat dopadům a efektivnosti systému péče pro drogově závislé jedince. V praktické části je provedeno výzkumné šetření. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření je zjišťována informovanost mladistvých a osob starších 18 let žijících v Moravskoslezském kraji. Cílem je zjistit, jaká je efektivnost a povědomí o možnostech využití systému péče o drogově závislé jedince. Vyhodnocením dotazníkového šetření bude odpovídáno na výzkumné otázky. V rámci vyhodnocení výzkumného šetření bude provedena komparace a sumarizace výsledků a zjištění. Pro názornost bude vše doplněno o grafy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with a comprehensive system directed towards drug addicted individuals in the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on a brief description of the Czech drug scene before 1989 and especially after 1989, taking into account the possibilities of helping drug addicted individuals. It briefly describes the development and the need to create a system of care for drug addicted individuals. At the same time it will deal with the relevant institutions offering specific services and the separate importance of the care system for drug dependent individuals. Within the regional perspective, the author focuses on the Moravian-Silesian region, on specific institutions and programmes aimed at drug dependent individuals. It will also address the impact and effectiveness of the care system for drug dependent individuals. In the practical part a research investigation is conducted. A questionnaire survey is used to determine the awareness of adolescents and persons over 18 years of age living in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim is to find out the effectiveness and awareness of the possibilities of using the system of care for drug dependent individuals. The evaluation of the questionnaire survey will answer the research questions. As part of the evaluation of the research survey, the results and findings will be compared and summarized. For illustrative purposes, everything will be supplemented with graphs.
