Tato práce se zabývá pojmem a základním vysvětlením a rozdělením konceptu bazální stimulace. Obsahuje rozdělení a stručné popsání typů bazální stimulace. V další části rozděluje cíle a prvky konceptu bazální stimulace. Mezi prvky konceptu bazální stimulace patří vnímání, hybnost a komunikace. Těmto bodům se věnuje velká část teoretické práce.
