History and presence of viticulture in the Near East with emphasis on Lebanon
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá historií vinařství na Blízkém východě. Zaměřuje se zejména na stát Libanon. Věnuje se historickému vývoji od pravěku až po současnost, i významným starověkým textům. Dále se věnuje současnému stavu libanonského vinařství. Důraz je kladen zejména na místní vinařství a libanonský export do České republiky i jiných částí světa.
Abstract:
The thesis describes viticulture and viniculture history in the Middle East. It focuses mainly on Lebanon. It maps history of making wine from pre-history to this day as well as important ancient texts. The thesis focuses on Lebanese wine industry at present. The emphasis is on local wineries and Lebanese export to the Czech Republic and other parts of the world.
