Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o významném německém dramatikovi Georgu Kaiserovi. Úvodní část práce se týká jeho života, exilu ve Švýcarsku, významných děl a důležitých osobností v jeho životě. Druhá část přibližuje pojem expresionismus a jeho typická témata: nový člověk a kritika civilizace.
