Factors influencing intentions to use renewable energy

Anotace:

This thesis focuses on exploring customers’ adoption behavior in the context of renewable energy. The aim of the thesis is to identify the factors that influence the intentions to use solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems among Tunisian households. The theoretical part builds upon a comprehensive literature review to propose a research framework and develop hypotheses. The practical part investigates the identified factors through a survey, analyzing the data from 198 responses through correlation and regression analyses. Based on the results, hypotheses are evaluated, implications for managers are discussed, research limitations are outlined, and recommendations for further research are presented.
