This bachelor thesis deals with issues of home and institutional care of the elderly people. It reflects on the role of family of elderly person as well as caregivers themselves. The solving of these issues is really urgent nowadays. The number of elderly people is rising and a lot of families is faced with a problem how to manage to take care of an old member of family.
