Postavy detektivů a pátrání po realitě v dramatech Toma Stopparda

The Characters of Detectives, and the Search for Reality in Tom Stoppard Plays
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci jsou zkoumána tři dramata Toma Stopparda - "Pravý inspektor Hound", "Rosenkrantz a Guildenstern jsou mrtvi" a "Na počátku byl Magritte". Jde zde především o postavy detektivů ve vztahu k motivu pátrání po realitě a po povaze lidského poznání. Jsou zkoumány souvislosti mezi Stoppardovým dramatem a detektivním žánrem a jeho náležitostmi.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with three plays by Tom Stoppard - "The Real Inspector Hound", "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead", and "After Magritte". The characters of detectives are analyzed as being significant of a prevailing Stoppard motif, the motif of the search for the true nature of the surrounding reality.
